History of Richard, Director of Dolan Property Maintenance.

 

Richard started his career as an apprentice at Bradford Cylinders, Bradford. Starting as an apprentice then rising up through the company from charge hand to Forman and then work manager. Richard was in charge of up to 65 people at a time and the business had a turnover in excess of 3 million pounds. Richard had worked for Bradford Cylinders for 25 years and in 2004 made the decision to leave and set up his own business.

Richard has always has an interest in home improvements and decided that to set up on his own he needed to acquire his corgi registration. He did this in 2004 before he set up the business. This business 'Dolan Property Maintenance' has now been running for four years, and Richard has prided himself on quality and craftsmanship. He now has a regular client base and finds that he his now running the business mostly on recommendations. He has an excellent service record. 

More recently as the business has become busier Richard has taken on an employee, who after completing a tiling course now does the tiling side of the business, meaning that he can offer a full service. Richard has been used to managing projects throughout his working life, ensuring that the jobs he now undertakes are completed to time and to budget, he works to the highest standards while in the homes of his customers, respecting their home and property at all times.

Being a family man, Dolan Property Maintenance is a family business. Richards partner 'Mary' takes care of the quotes and accounts and more recently his son 'James' set up this web site, and is now in charge of all aspects of IT, including business cards and advertising.

The business has now run successfully for four years and Richard is committed to running the business successfully for many more years to come.
